Our story

Madam Cacti was founded for the love and fascination of Astrophytum - A genus of cacti that is native to south Texas and northern Mexico. Astrophytum was listed as endangered species in the early 90’s. Our passion is to spread awareness against collecting this endangered species from the habitat – Once gone, they’re gone forever, and there’s no going back. With your help we can mass cultivate the genus from the comfort of your own home and help preserve its existence.

We wanted to create a place where growers and enthusiast could learn more about the genus. We are here to help you expand your own astrophytum collection. We aim to provide beautifully grown plants and give you access to the numerous spectacular cultivars that are cultivated around the world.
